I literally bring a full size pillow for all my longhaul flights in J and F. I stuff it in my carry on. This is 20+ longhauls a year. Have no clue what a vacuum pack even is but I certainly don't use one!

​​​​​​Brilliant idea I will add. Makes a huge difference. Airline pillows in J and even F are rarely very good.

Why on Earth would you worry what the FAs think? It's yours! If you're anything like me, the bigger problem is remembering to take the damn thing with you when you deplane. I have left 5, maybe as many as 10 of my pillows on CX flights over the years. At outports when this occurrs, I end up begging the hotel I'm staying to take a pillow with me.
