It has to do with the fact I don't believe you applied for the offer. And if you did, you should have said something about as soon as you realized something was wrong. Instead, you happily accepted the $200 and tried to get Chase to give you extra points after the fact.

To some, including Chase, it may appear you were trying to take advantage of them.
