I think CHC has some Swing Gates where the two departure areas meet. The AIrNZ Operation News said something about stairs and if you had mobility issues move to a different flight so at the Akl end makes me think bus gate to a hard stand, as I don't think AKL domestic has any jetway stands capable of a wide body.
