Looking at the Avis DE site, Avis DE cars come with EU cover and can even be taken to the UK.

But on the UK site, it just tells me that Avis UK cars cannot be taken over to Europe without taking out additional cover, and this cannot be done on BMW or Mercedes cars for example.

If I used the Avis UK site to book a car in Germany, would EU-wide insurance cover still come with it because the car is being collected from Germany?
