I've just thought of a way for the airlines to increase profits a bit more.
You know how some restaurants allow you to bring your own wine to have with your meal but charge you a 'corking charge'? In case someone isn't familiar with that concept, read here.

So the airline could do the same thing when you bring your own food on board. You bring it, they serve it. As for what to bring, I suggest one of these perhaps:
