Any issues flying to/through the U.S. while carrying Nicotine Lozenges?

Hi All,

I'm relatively new to flying and it seems there's lots of regulations. I'm trying to work out what to expect when I go through security with regards to carrying nicotine lozengers. I will be traveling from the UK (Glasgow and Heathrow) to the USA (Denver).

If I carry nicotine lozengers with me, they come in packs of 96 lozengers, should I carry some in my checked baggage or just carry them all in my hand baggage? Also at security should I leave them inside my hand baggage or do I need to remove them as you would with any electrical items and liquids.
