Sorry, you lost me there, I thought we were on about FCO (distance between gates etc.). Indeed LIN has a terrible layout, especially if you are connecting. Also, going through the zoo at security (the ViaMilano fast track doesn't really cut it) on your way back to the gates (not to mention the extra-Schengen area...) is enough to consider other options. Going back to the new BA lounge in the new concourse (E), AZ is also getting a new one within the same area whereas it also seems that works for the new pier (domestic terminal, A) are going pretty smooth so plenty going on at FCO as we speak.
