Rudi, I have a stash of lanterns and flags from past August 1 celebrations as well as great photos of the startlingly close fireworks set off in front of the Wengen tennis courts. Fond memories.
My young country is getting older and the local celebrations are akin to Swiss August 1 celebrations in our small towns sand big cities.
