I am planning to be in NYC, and then DC next month, arriving in DC either April 10th or 11th, and departing April 16th. On my last trip I did two nights at the Park Hyatt and the rest at the Willard Intercontinental. But the Willard is booked this time, and I was only able to get points and cash at the PH for Fri/Sat/Sun (April 13-15).

I do have a cat 1-4 and cat 1-7 award to use by April and May. I'd prefer to use the cat 1-7 on something better than a cat 4, but the PH isn't showing availability for promotional award any days of my visit, none of the Hyatts in NYC have it available, and the PH closest to me in Chicago doesn't show availability on any dates I looked at either. So I figured I might as well do a couple free nights in DC. And possibly do a full points night at the PH if I do come in on Tuesday 4/10.

The hotels I'm looking at are Grand Hyatt Washington (available Wed/Thurs 4/11 and 4/12), Hyatt Regency Washington on Capitol Hill (Also available Wed/Thurs) and Hyatt Centric Arlington (available all three nights). Does anyone who has stayed at these properties have any thoughts on the best option(s) for Globalist benefits? Mostly interested in potential for upgrade, breakfast, and proximity to metro/safety at night.
