We apologize for the difficulties you encountered. Please allow me to
clarify:
Hyatt offers 24 hour reservations service in Australia and New Zealand from
Monday through Saturday, except during public holidays. Depending on the
time of day, your calls to Hyatt's reservations numbers in Australia and
New Zealand are answered by our Australian, European or US reservations
team members. On Sundays, our US reservations team assists callers from
Australia and New Zealand, except during a period of approximately four
hours on Sunday evenings (Australian time) when our US office is closed.
Calls to the Gold Passport Customer Service number in Australia are
currently handled exclusively by our dedicated staff in our Australian
reservations center during regular business hours, Monday through Friday.
If this is different from what you experienced, please contact me at

well as the time and date of your call, so we can research. Of course, if
you still require assistance with reservations, please contact our
colleagues in Australia at 13 1234.
Maintenance to our reservations system and/or hyatt.com is normally
scheduled on early Sunday mornings (US time), which corresponds to Sunday
evening Australian time. This may explain why you were unable to confirm
your reservations through hyatt.com, however, without further details on
the time, hotel and type of rate you tried to book I can not confirm this.
