UGS customers do not have to reach any levels. It is not a part of Mileage Plus. It is a way UA is recognizing customers that will pay high revenue fares and have the ability to direct their employees to fly UA.
The criteria is not posted for that purpose. UA is not going to say, if you spend xx amount of money, fly certain booking codes and accrue xx miles within this calendar year, you can reach UGS. That is not their point. It is determined by UA and UA only. What they base it on it not published.
