SO’s Marriott Biz statement closed a couple of days ago with majority spend at Simon and was awarded the bonus. Should be fine. Also with regard to Citi, several people have noted frequent fraud calls to the point of being unable to make large purchases at Simon or CVS in the first month or so. That may be what is coming into play here. With that being said I have not run into issues with my Plats at Simon when calling in prior to put a large purchase notification on the card. As always YMMV.
