It remains the case that the departing flight needs to be advertised as T5B or T5C to use that connection, as far as I know. The only exception that I've come across is when a
oneworld express connection agent is trying to get someone to a tight connection quickly in T5A. But you could give it a try anyway, the T5B FCC is en route to T5A. If arriving in T5C I wouldn't bother trying unless you have that advertised connection showing up for T5B or T5C.
