I find the E gates to be an embarrassment. In the last 2-3 years I’ve only flown PY and J out of those gates and boarding has always been absolutely chaotic. There simply isn’t enough room for all the people boarding flights so you end up with masses of people jammed into a too small space. There is no semblance of boarding lines, nor could there be. To AC’s credit, their agents have been quite aggressive and shooing everyone else away, but you still have to fight your way through a throng to get to the lane.
