Shuttle bus can be OK or agonizing. I had a situation where I was moving from C to B with no time pressure and the Shuttle bus waited for a good 10 minutes to move because there was an Honor flight arriving into gate 36 with full water cannon salute. We then had to wait longer as an aircraft pushed off of gate 38 and with the proximity of 38 to the main terminal building, the tug had to do a dance to get the aircraft aligned properly to allow the aircraft to exit the alley between C and B. You could see the tension building in the other bus riders.
