In the past we spent the last night at the Intercontinental Tahiti (and went to the airport at around 8am), but it could be nice to spend it in Moorea instead.
Last week I had a morning flight out of PPT and, after consulting this thread, decided to overnight at PPT the night before. It made for a pleasant, stress-free end to our trip and I'd do the same if I have to do it again. If you take the last ferry out of Moorea the night before, you won't miss much!
