Thanks for those who tried to interpret for me. I must not be communicating well. I certainly understand skepticism, even unbridled skepticism. And I do not disagree with a decision, either personal or by consensus, not to honor the request. What I do not understand is the scale of the anger. While any one of us has had experiences, both good and bad, in the past and if it is a given that the request was a scam. why can't one JUST SAY NO! After all, you ( I guess you is the wrong pronoun to use) can't blame a guy for trying.
