All depends what OP is looking for. The largest hole in these policies is for people who are traveling overseas and do not have healthcare coverage overseas or who are traveling to a domestic destination which does not have in-network coverage.
People spend hours worrying about a $150 hotel room in a snowstorm and no time worrying about a $50K medical bill in some other city.
I think nearly all current US health insurance policies would cover emergency treatment by an out-of-network provider, no? (albeit with deductibles)
Obviously you'd run into a problem at the point of being stabilized a few days later and transitioning into non-emergency care, while you're 1,500 miles and 6 states away from your home hospital, and even 200 miles away from an in-network medical center capable of ongoing treatment for the emergency.
Do you have a MedjetAssist policy or a similar annual / multi-trip policy that covers evacuation, both foreign and domestic?
