Sending things from Spain or Portugal to the US using the likes of UPS/DHL or regular post is very expensive. Sending from Spain to Portugal or vice-versa is less expensive but still expensive.

Whatever you do, don't send anything from outside the European Customs Union to Portugal. It'll get stuck in customs for eternity.
