I always bring my own slippers to hotels and also on planes. I think it is incredibly wasteful to use a pair of slippers once and throw them out.
I'll take bar soap over body wash any day. And I bring my bar of soap from hotel to hotel as once again, I don't like to create waste.
(I also refill my water bottles from the 5 gallon jug in the gym.)
I guess disposing of waste is not as big a problem in Asia as it is in NA.
