Nope. They're both callous and calculated ways to appear in searches with cheaper prices while having minimum luggage allowances. I expect google flights, skyscanner, et al to include the option to search with the cost of luggage included though.

My issue is that the light fare should be current cost, minus the cost of added luggage. In reality though, we all know that it'll just be an amount off the cheapest fares to hit those lower search results, and adding luggage will take the cost *above* the current cheapest fares.
