your fees with a Mileage plus award would be $90.06cnd. ( aeroplan rip off $214) there is a flight from ORD-OGG nonstop 777 on weekends however its doubtful Aeroplan would have award space in Business class. Consider flying to HNL and buying a ticket inter island.
there is lots of space yyz-lax and SFO on AC in business class so book quickly before that space disappears.
reality is you are stuck with aeroplan miles use them up and start putting credit card miles to something more useful. live and learn.
Yeah I was trying to avoid ORD, just due to the short trip from YYZ then the long trip of OGG.. figure might be easier with the little one to not be on the plane for 9+ hours, but who knows
And it would mean biz would be wasted due to short flight time yyz-ord, so would have to go with Economy in that scenario
I might re-consider HNL, it was another one I was avoiding just because of having to do another hop, 1 stop to get us to Maui was feeling like most ideal.. it's a long enough trip as is, but looks like I can get biz all the way on AC pods.. hmm.. see if I can convince the wife
