the last time I was in PHX was in early September in the mid-1990s. It was 116F/47C in the shade, and there was a smoky smell in the air. I thought I had been transported to HELL!
esp. since I was flying on the USA's worst airline at the time, Air West. And just think, the top execs at Air West now run American and United. Now you know why airline quality has declined.

in any case, why would anyone in his/her right mind, want to be in PHX in August????
