If you asked me to write a top-10 list of inviolable travel rules, not using a debit card at a hotel - anywhere - would be pretty darn high up there.
The bigger question is: what are you doing where you are booking 14 (fourteen?!) nights at the Hilton Tokyo and using a debit card?? For my own edification I just looked that up and for 14 consecutive days in April that is JPY 860,000; over $8000 US. How do you have eight grand to spend on a hotel and no points-earning credit card on which to charge that??!
