Big enough that UA started the route a couple years ago with 3x weekly, quickly went to 7x weekly, and now LY is starting the route 3x weekly on their 789 in November.
Figured UA was trying to scare off LY, but now UA is only putting the 77W on the route for the peak summer season and going back to the 788 for winter. The odd part is that LYs 789 has all aisle access J class while UA will be competing with a 2-2-2 J class.
UA has the connecting traffic out of SFO most LY traffic will terminate in SFO, in addition UA holds many corporate contracts in the Bay Area so I doubt they are super concerned about LY's entrance.
