That’s good. What if he were just to arrive at the counter? Would they honor the rate considering it’s still the same number of days?
Sometimes they notice, sometimes they don't and the computer just changes it. It's an outsourced call center in the Philippines; the agents are reading from scripts and don't spend too much energy thinking about things. We've called hundreds of times on behalf of our customers (back when we were booking reservations directly) and have never been challenged.
Decent chance they'll honor it if you just show up early, but a chance they might give you some grief, so since it's free and easy to change, might as well.
