I don't like the Benson- old, musty smelling, not that amazing. Only stayed there once, and the fire alarm went off for false alarms about 6 times in two days. Ugh. I haven't stayed at the Fifth Avenue Suites, but I've heard good things. Just up the street is the Hotel Lucia, and then a few blocks more is the Westin, where I always stay. Hotel Lucia, I believe, has free wireless internet access, if that has any impact on your decision.
