Just looking for some input/advice on booking flights using Aeroplan points for upcoming Hawaii trip, yeah it's a bit late to plan.. but availability still seems to be decent

Currently we are targeting May 26/27th to depart, return June 10-ish

Depart - YYZ -> OGG
Return - LIH -> YYZ

I have approx. 110k points locked up in Aeroplan looking to potentially just burn them all while I can, and have quite a few awaiting their orders in Amex Rewards, I will either deploy what I need to Aeroplan or to SPG/Marriott for our hotel stays

Should also mention we will be traveling with a 6month old

Doing some initial searches I have one good option showing up for YYZ -> OGG with a lay over in SFO in either Biz or Economy

Economy - 22,500 points
Biz - 40,000 points

Biz would be nice but.. it's a mixed class fare, only the YYZ - SFO potion is in Biz (Air Canada), while the remained is in Economy (United)

Would it be even worth burning the points to get half fare in biz? Is there any way that I could fandangle my way to get the full trip in biz? 5 hours worth in biz does sound nice, but then we have to move to economy after that... not sure if we can handle the downgrade

Doing some searches on google flights I see there are routes that are completely on biz, the first portion is the same (yyz-sfo), the 2nd portion (sfo-ogg) is still on United but different plane/departure time

Is there any extra abilities the phone reps can do that I can't see on the aeroplan site?
