SQ's reputation is higher than UA's, among most frequent fliers, anyway.
I would guess the corpse cupboards are for people who have gone past the need for medical diversion. I don't think SQ's reputation would remain higher than UA's or even Ryanair's if they were shown to decide to use those cupboards in the case of someone who still has a heartbeat.
