Have you checked other resources, such as Google Flights, Matrix, etc? OTAs that might have lower fare buckets on offer? Or consider 1) scheduling your required flights on the cheapest airline, 2) schedule the cheapest TP flights available out of ORD? It might require an extra day or not, but you might save over the AA offered fares on your planned routing.
