Any experience with award booking services and PPT (Bora Bora) travel. I consider myself pretty well versed in all of the various mileage schemes and award redemptions and I am at my wits end planning a OW home from our honeymoon (need to get us from PPT to RDU but as a OW). I have a plethora of points all over the place (every alliance + AS + UR + AMEX with enough to cover something significant) yet the best I can come up with is a one way AKL - RDU flight for $2k/person using CSR at 1.5 CPP to offset that.

I would love a second set of eyes but I'm not sure what value they can really add since I'm certain I've covered 99.999% of the possibilities.

Thoughts? Do most of the people on this list have a "only pay if you are satisfied" view? Or do they just need to find *something* (which I can find) and they'll satisfy the requirements needed for payment?
