My German friend's 27-year-old daughter(who is still a graduate student) will be visiting the US for about 3 weeks. If she rents from Hertz upon arrival at NY JFK, what are her liability insurance options? I looked at the one offered by Hertz on their website and it seems awfully lacking... is there a 3rd party insurance that she can buy for situations like this?
