Well, so far I have not yet redeemed a single MR point since 1998. Am I insane? I figure I'll use them if I need extra miles on SkyTeam or decided that I need some award travel on the Star Alliance via USAir. Of course I don't have all that many points. I mostly charge things on my DL card to get the 10000 "base" bonus to help me requalify for elite status, and everything else I try to charge to either my Starwood Amex card or to the AA MC.
