It's a good question. I remember a couple of years ago being upgraded on a shorthaul 767 to ARN. Then we had an equipment change to a longhaul 767 and I was fully expecting to end up back in ET, but somehow still kept my 2A seat number and kept my upgrade. I did wonder whether some CE passengers who had paid for CE ended up in WT+. I didn't complain through !
