Marriott seems to take pride in doing this with every single written communication, confirmation, "rule" and benefit. I picture an annoying, job loving lawyer to which every piece of wording must be filtered through and approved or modified for its potential ambiguity. That's the only way this can be so consistently bad. Contract law exists for the very reason, let's take a document written & agreed to by 2 lawyers and then a 3rd is willingly to litigate its meaning differently!
