So here is something interesting. I just got my latest hilton statement and I already have over 100k points. Only had the card for a month now. Looked online and sure enough I already have the 75k welcome bonus. I've only paid 1 credit card statement so far but I've spent over 2k. So are obviously not checking if the Credit card is paid, just if you've spent enough money.
