Airside tranfer in AMS with Singapore airlines onward flight
Hello,
I posted a related question in this forum before. Hope it is okay to post here some new questions in a new thread rather than in the old thread. This thread is about a flight in the reverse direction than what was in the old thread, and the questions are different here.
I will have a transfer soon in AMS airport (Schiphol airport in Amsterdam) arriving from TLV and continuing to SIN. So a non-Schengen to non-Schengen transfer. The flight to SIN is with Singapore Airlines. The transfer would be on two different tickets, and I will be with carry-on only. I am allowed entry into the Netherlands but would just prefer to remain airside.
My questions are
1. Is there an airside transfer counter for Singapore Airlines that I could use?
2. Is there some document-verification or other process which I would have to do at a landside check-in desk and thus would have a problem remaining airside?
Note I will do online check-in if that is available to me, but still wondering about this, and also with online check-in I am still concerned about question (2), i.e. whether there would be anything I would need to go to landside check-in to do.
Also this assumes I'll be let into the the airside Departures area in the first place without a boarding pass, which I guess possibly could be a problem as well, but I'll put that issue aside for now.
Thank you very much
