Hi everyone, hoping someone might be able to shed some light as I cannot find the information I am looking for.

I am flying to Punta Cana in October and just found out that the seat layouts on the 777's have changed since I flew last October. I have a Club World ticket and last year we were in seat 4A and 4B on the 40J 24W and 219Y layout (technically this is row 3 but for some reason BA lable it as row 4, I think it is because of the staggering of seats in this class). This year I merrily booked my flight and went for 4A and 4B again and have now realised this is the new layout with 32 J seats. Does anyone know if 4A and 4B on densified planes are in the same position as 5A and 5B (technically row 4) of the 48J 24W and 203Y layout? On Seat Guru the window seat at 5A does not have a window as they are blocked out and I fear that this will be the same with 4A on the new densified configuration.

I rang BA to see if they had any information on this and guess what? Their contact centre staff had not heard of the planes being densified and was not in a position to help. In fact I could tell her more about the planes and she is now away to check it out!
