We can fly out of any Bay Area airport (OAK / SJC / SFO).
I'm an Alaska MVP, and less travel last year means I don't have status with any other airlines right now. I can't see any partners who fly those routes except American, and as far as I can see I'll *maybe* get some mileage credit but nothing else.
Anyone have any suggestions/hacks/workarounds? Please don't make me fly United!
My suggestion is there isn’t likely a “hack” that is worth as much as a direct and painless experience flying a nonstop unless your kids are AV geeks who don’t mind flying. Buy based on schedule and price for whatever comfort you can fit. MVP is of minimal use as you can’t upgrade the kids with you. Separate tickets means not being through checked on luggage. I guess if you really REALLY must requalify, fly to LGA via DAL and get separate tickets out of there to YUL?
