What got me was that at least a couple J pax got up and used the lav by cutting in front of the line. One poor Japanese woman who had waited about 30 minutes went up to the lav when some J cow stood up to cut in front of the line. This bag basically put her arm out and shooed the poor woman back.

Am I wrong in thinking the J pax should have waited their turn? I know those of you who always travel in J probably won't agree. What if the shoe had been on the other foot and only one 1 Y lav was working?
Sitting at the frnnt of the bus only means you paid a lot more to get from point A-B with a slight improvement in comfort and convenience. It does not buy you the right to be an ill mannered lout who is better than the rest. Common deceny and common sense should govern behaviour and not rules about who gets to use what in the situation you described. It really makes me ill to think that some people are so selfish and uncaring of others. I say the woman slighted should have dumped a big wet spot of the cow's seat!
