I guess the FA's don't like it when one pax orders cup noodles because then everyone else will be ordering one. On the flip side, think of all the pax like myself who don't eat cup noodles & have to put up with the smell of it wafting thru' the cabin

LOL - I too thought that it was Lucky who wrote the article & the OP was being cheeky
Some bloggers on Boarding Area are just ridiculous in the articles they write & the perspectives they take
I guess they need to keep up the volume/hits for advertiser $$ - quantity over quality

Because most Filipino Crew I know are actually HK based and live in HK and visit the Philippines from time to time but mostly they are in HK.
Exactly what I thought - it would be quite tough & tiring, if not almost impossible to be commuting to HKG for work. Especially if they were also working the flight from MNL/BKK/KUL/SIN etc. as Lucky wrote. And he still believes that to be the case.
And the curious thing is that most, if not all, the Filipino cabin crew that I've met are either the ISM or Purser (I don't recall meeting any Filipinos who were junior FA's).
And I'm always very impressed by the ISM/Purser on my flights whether they are Filipinos, Singaporean or Malaysian (only met 1 each so far).
They are always well groomed, polished in the way they speak & very very friendly.
Definitely one of my favorite cabin crews in the world ^
