I do want to point out that I have encountered great doormen in NYC before, in fact, even at Baccarat during this stay. But, the quality in NYC is just insanely inconsistent...Maybe it's an area hotel management just overlooks but it's the first in-person interaction they have with guests...blows my mind that it's overlooked/undervalued!

I tend to get excited about visiting hotels but for NYC, I really manage my expectations and I usually walk away fairly happy. Come on, 2020/AMAN NYC!!! but even Aman Tokyo took a couple years before heading in the right direction....so, Come on, 2024/AMAN NYC!
