either way - a change in operating carrier entitles you to either a full refund or rebooking. DL is very generous with rebookings so if you picked AF for a reason (or want a different equipment type, want to try KL, etc) call and change.
I fly both throughout the year. I was actually booked on this AF flight because of the schedule. With Delta picking up the flight at the same time, it works for me. I like the A330. I got virtually the same seat.
