More on this in the GGL thread, but my bag has gone missing somewhere between DCA and PRG, via LHR and HEL.

Two carriers are involved - BA (on an AA flight number) and AY. AA claim tag. Menzies aviation dealing with the claim, but can't find it anywhere. Of course as I'm not in one place for long it's difficult to get it forwarded if and when it turns up.

Is there anything I can do proactively to trace it, any hints or tips? I appreciate this isn't BA specific and expect the thread to be moved, but any rapid help appreciated.

I'm hoping it got stuck on the short connection in Helsinki, but a little concerned it might have needed to have been put through customs in LHR or HEL despite being checked through to (Schengen) Prague.
