My husband and I are heading to Vegas next month with a few other couples for an adults mini-vacation. Can't decide between the Cosmopolitan or the Marriott Chateau. We haven't stayed at either one.

Cosmopolitan is more points, but looks like a better location. Points get you the 'standard' 2 queen room. I am guessing the atmosphere is much better here. Additional resort fee per night.

Marriott Chateau is fewer points, slightly off the strip. Points can get a 1 bedroom villa (about 820 sq ft. vs 460 or so at Cosmo). No resort fee (that I could tell). No casino at hotel/smoke free.

Has anyone stayed at both - or either? Any advice or recommendations? We are Gold Marriott.

Oh - and the other couples are staying at Vdara. Slightly closer to Cosmo.

What to do....what to do?!?!?
