South Island Highlights

There was a combination helicopter ride to and cruise on Milford Sound.







There was a jet boat ride on the Shotover River.



A trip up the Skyline Gondola.




Avocado toast.



A road trip up through Mount Aspiring National Park and the west coast.





A stop at the Pancake Rocks.



A drive through the Buller Gorge.



Nelson Cathedral.



Pelorus Bridge.



Marlborough wine country.




Finally, a week after landing in Queenstown, we arrived in Picton for the ferry crossing to the North Island.
