zippy the pinhead got the point. A hyper-competitive country like Korea has whole another set of priority, and politicians follow those demands. When a young person lines up at F or C, he/she frequently gets a hatred jealousy look, meaning "someone is from a rich family" "born with a gold spoon" etc. Even 10-20 years ago, it was more than just a look - he/she needed to hear those comments. Hmm.. maybe that's why KE needed to wall F/C check-in area.
I have lived in Korea more than 10 years and the society over there is just to competitive. People terribly hate losing to others in any means. Korea has this proverb saying that your stomach hurts because because your uncle had bought a land. As what I have been educated, the concept of competition had made Korea into this status, but now, the competition is just ruining the total society. I really do not want to offend these in foreign countries cause I'm one of them, but yes, we are doing the same thing over and over in other countries.
