Jeeps are most common in Hawaii, but there are some here and there in the Continental U.S. As far as 4X4 SUVs, there are plenty of them around, the issues is that you're not always guaranteed to get a 4WD model if you book an SUV. That said, your chances go up exponentially if you book the larger SUV classes--i.e. avoid Compact/Intermediate SUVs and go for Standard/Standard Elite/.Fullsize SUV as those are much more likely to have 4WD.
