Just found that the multi-city option is totally useless....should just remove it as an option. I tried booking the same flight I did a month ago with the max 6 flights...no problem...tried this yesterday...."You can't book connecting flights as individual flight segments. Please change your flight search" Call AA....agent received the same thing using the website....she was able to create my 6 flight reservation with her reservation system. Now what I was able to do online....tie up an agent doing it....waste of resources. They evidently want to push you towards their online packaged round trips. Very screwed up.... I have complained....doubt if anything happens...this change occurs due to revenue....evidently if this wasn't that they wouldn't of changed. I'm sure some really smart guy did the analysis on this....anything to increase profit margin.
