When I ring BA to change the booking to a different date, they are unable to create the same overnight connection at LHR, despite the same flights being operated and having plenty of room. They say the only options they see are evening departures from JFK, connecting immediately to INV. Asking them to perform a multi-city search produces a result that appears to be priced as a one-way fare (twice as expensive). This happens on any date I ask them to check.
Doesn't seem right. Am I missing something?
That certainly doesn’t seem right. Not an ideal solution (and one which you may have already tried) might be to find exactly the flight numbers and dates you want and perhaps ask them to send it directly to ticketing.
